Rich, smooth cheesecake with a slightly tangy finish, rolled in a melt-in-your mouth flaky pastry, tossed in a sugar & cinnamon blend, then served on a fresh guava puree. The Orishas love it & so will you!
Home-made, traditional flan topped with the sweetest grated coconut you can imagine.
Five layers of dark, moist chocolate cake sandwiched with the silkiest smooth chocolate filling & finished with elegant dark chocolate ganache. Not particularly cuban- just a taste of divine decadence.

With flecks of chocolate & almonds served in a chocolate dipped wafer basket & topped with milk chocolate syrup. A favorite with our customers.
Layers of creamy smooth passion fruit & mango infused buttermilk cheesecake topped with tart passion fruit curd. Finished with a shimmering glaze of passion fruit & mango. Need we say more?
Pucker up for this tart, refreshingly light sorbet with lots of lime & traces of mint & rum. a perfect dessert when you think you are too full. You're not. Made with love by our friends at Sebastian Joe's.
Guava shells & cream cheese, served with Cuban crackers. This is the Cuban dessert. An absolute tradition.
Three big layers of moist colada-glazed coconut cake with refreshing pineapple & creamy coconut custard. Covered with a light cream & toasted candied shards of coconut. This dessert is a tropical dream.
Do they offer pick up/take out for dinner??
Had looked up breakfast near me on our way home in traffic and Victor's popped up. Cute cuban themed restaurant with writing every where. Amazing food and such a friendly server. They're coffee was delicious. Wish I took pictures to share before devouring.
MoreI have eaten here so many times over the last 11 years. Every meal has been top notch and noteworthy. Today, I got to meet the owner outside of the restaurant business. She is as kind and cool as the food is filled with love and amazing flavor. It's no secret why this restaurant has been so successful for so long. Keep it up, Mpls needs Cuban influences.
MoreAuthentic Cuban food done right. My friend said she's been trying Cuban sandwiches for years, but had never had one this good. We tried four different dishes and a dessert and each one was unique and wonderful.
MoreBust Cuban food I've tasted and if always full. Good fun in a great area with wonderful staff and servers.
MoreVery tasty food. I am latina and the food here tastes like homemade. Right balance of flavor.
MoreEhhhh, expectations were high based on other reviews, but price was way too high for the quality. Pretty mediocre. Super cool inside though.
MoreExpect to wait but so worth it every time!! Small parking lot and plenty of street parking. Black beans are amazing, I always have to get yuca frita with mojo sauce, and the mango pancake is as good as everyone tells you it is.
MoreThis little gem is wonderful. The servers were friendly and personable and had great recommendations, as this was my first time there. The coffee was endless and fresh, the cheese croquettes were a great start to the meal, like a great mozz stick only delicate and light, and creamier because they have provolone in them along with mozzarella. We also shared one of the vegetarian platters, which did not disappoint! Very bright and flavorful dish. Soooooo many vegetarian and vegan options, I'll definitely be back for breakfast next, can't wait!
MoreI really enjoyed my recent visit to Victor's cafe. The food was great - definitely unique in the metro area, and I also thought the price was reasonable. It's important to note that part of its charm could prove problematic for bigger groups. The cafe is extremely small, and I would recommend not going with more than four people.
MoreLove to come here for brunch in the spring and summer! The patio is just too beautiful- lots of plants surround, so if friendly bees don't bother you too much, it's well worth it! The service is prompt as well. The portions of food are very generous and the price is reasonable.
MoreThe place serves large portions and for convenient prices. super friendly staff. 5 stars from me.
MoreBrunch offers some fun pancake options to get on the side! Prices are a bit steep for a small pancake, but it's worth getting to try. The mango and corn pancakes are the most popular, but our group didn't have any trouble choking down a blueberry one too. Mango pancake has real mango chunks in it!
MoreFun place and very tasty food hope to visit again.. from Ohio.
Originally found this restaurant from Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. Small venue in a residential area. Street parking only. They do take reservations which is a good idea on any evening. This restaurant is a "must" for us every time we are in MPLS. We have had almost everything on the menu.
MoreFirst time going was in 2009. Still love this place. Awesome flavors, lots of variety, good service and it's super comfortable.
MoreExcellent services (Thank you Christina). Portion was good size to fill you up. Everyone makes you feel very welcome. Price is affordable for the size. 👍🏽👍🏽
MoreVictor’s Cafe was a delight to visit! I’m always up to visit a Triple D restaurant and Victor’s did not disappoint. The menu was unique and the food was delicious! I’ll be back for sure! Only 4 out of 5 stars as the alcoholic beverage list was quite short and the appetizer portions were smaller than expected. I would still highly recommend checking this place out!
MoreCool & trendy spot to go to grab a bite to eat. Not over priced and good portions. I got steak and rice with plaintains which wasnt bad. And the pina colada cake which was good but very dry. Not much parking. And the place is very tiny if your claustrophobic so be aware.
MoreSuper tasty food. Flavors are amazing together, its like a party in your mouth!!
Limited seating but fun and unique menu items. Also the patio can be nice in the summer.
MoreDuring Covid they have the same wonderful flavors but they do suffer from not meeting their pickup time promises. Annoying but still one of the best meal available.
MoreSuch a great brunch place. Order the hot chocolate. Bring an appetite and maybe a sharpie to sign the wall. The cuban toast is a must have. Small place, so expect a tight wait depending on when you arrive.
MoreFun, little place with delicious food! The food is very authentic and is fairly large portions. The restaurant is small and can get a big crowded but not terrible. The outside sign is small and can easily be missed from a car. It is on the northwest corner of the intersection. The staff is friendly and the service is prompt. I have been there several times and would recommend to anyone.
MoreI haven’t been in awhile but I have only great things to say. The tropical mimosa is amazing and my fave meal is the crab cake Benedict. It’s busy for a reason guys!
MoreGreat food, great atmosphere. The place smells great as you walk in and the employees are courteous and efficient
MoreLove this place so much. Food is amazing. It is small so be prepared to wait for a table.
MoreCame here for a birthday dinner with my girls and it was good! We sat outside and we had a great time! Service was ok and food was not bad! Was expecting more bold flavors. Better than nothing in Minneapolis
MoreFun atmosphere, great food and staff!
I love Victor's! The food is delicious and service is friendly. The place is small, so not ideal for a large group and there is usually a wait, especially on weekends. Not much for parking either (3 spots or street parking). Personally, I don't mind waiting and always enjoy a walk. They also have a small patio for outside seating when the weather is nice.
MoreThe food here is DELICIOUS and different from everything else. Not enough Cuban food in my life. The staff here have always been friendly and accommodating. There lot isn't very big but they use all the space they have both inside and outside on their patio. The inside had graffiti everywhere and is fun. There's definitely a reason this place has been in business for 60 years.
MoreLoved the Cubano, with pulled pork and tender ham. Would be open to going back for more.
MoreGreat service by Tina! Went for brunch and the food was delicious and the coffee was amazing. The serving sizes are huge so you'll most likely be taking some home. Be prepared to wait for a table though!
MoreCute, small interior. Fun decor. Yuca was good as was the homemade hot sauce. Cuban sandwich was dry and tasteless.
MoreIf there were more stars this would be ten stars! Food was excellent and so was the service. Authentic Cuban food and desserts. I could eat there every day!!!
MoreIncredible food. Quality and service is top shelf! The atmosphere is fun though space is a little tight. The plantains and the flan are world class.
MoreAlways great food, friendly service and accommodating staff. I enjoy bringing out-of-town guests here.
MoreGot take out. Spanish omelet was delicious! Will definitely be back to try the rest of their menu!
MoreObsessed. I get the Cuban Hash, with white rice, Cuban Toast, and Guava Jam. I order a large mango pancake to share with the table, and typically guzzle down about 4 mimosas. We come here strictly for breakfast/brunch (their morning happy is so legit!) To celebrate birthdays, Valentine's, holidays, anniversaries. It's a bit pricey for what we like to indulge in, hance the special occasion meal. The smaller your party, the better chance you'll be able to squeeze in up at the bar vs. waiting a minimum of prob 45+ mins for a table (usually over an hour wait, but this is the one place where I feel it's worth it).
MoreYou may have a little bit of a wait depending on when you go but let me assure you, it is worth it! Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff (excepting the lady managing the wait list) and delicious food!
MoreCute little place that offers food throughout the day. Lovely outdoor patio. Inside is small yet festive. Food was good. Waiter was very attentive and friendly. I don’t think the food was super exquisite or different but it had good flavor and satisfying. The yuca fries were delicious as was the mango pancake which seemed to be a regular pancake with a mango sauce.
MoreI love them. The servers are so kind and understanding. Working as a server, I really appreciate their patience cuz I can be a difficult customer. They are all amazing and I wish I could name one of the servers but they're all amazing.
MoreAmazing breakfast! Never been here for lunch or dinner, but I'm sure it's good. All of their menu items are similar, but have different combinations of rice, black beans, yuca, plantains, eggs, etc. The only downside to this place is that it is small and often crowded, and there is no where to wait inside. So I wouldn't go on a cold winter Saturday or Sunday brunch-time excursion. Such good food though!!!
MoreAbsolutely love Victor's. I had never tried Cuban food before my boyfriend took me here about 3 years ago. I was hesitant at first because the interior is crazy, and I soon realized that is what makes it such a special place! I can't even pick a favorite dish. It is all delicious. Love the cuban bread with their special jam, and hot chocolate. Looking forward to sitting on their patio very soon :)
MoreVisited Victor’s on a Monday. We didn't have to wait at all. The Cuban slaw, mango pancake, and the am special were all amazing.
MoreA quirky, popular Cuban inspired dive near Uptown. The food is great, the ambiance is not upscale, so if you're looking for that, you're not going to find it. I call it a quirky local dive where you can write on the walls if that is your thing.
MoreNice spot with an authentic vibe. However If you've been to Cuba you will notice a big burger shaped hole in the menu. Your nostalgic hunger for those unique Cuban burgers with their uncommon side pairings will not be satisfied.
MoreAwesome and cozy, very artistic with a homely vibe. Staff rocks and the food is great! Will definitely come back here.
MoreBest Cuban food in the Twin Cities! Breakfast on point.
BEST SPOT IN TOWN!!! Very artistic with a homely vibe,Staff rocks very welcoming and the food is flavorful! Must try the cafe con leche with a mango pancake!! BEST SPOT IN TOWN!! THANKS FOR THE EXCELLENT SERVICE WILL DEFINITELY COME BACK AND SPREAD THE WORD!
Morewas here a couple of weeks ago and stumbled upon it while exploring the neighborhood. Fantastic staff, ambience, and great outdoor seating. Interesting people watching. Good food. Will be back with family. Come here on a bike ride!
